Is a deposit required to book a trip?

Yes, a 50% deposit is required to secure your reservation. The remaining balance is due the day of your charter. Payment details will be provided during booking.

What time do we meet?

Pickup times depend on the length of your charter and our plans for the day.

Your Captain will contact you the day before to discuss the meeting time, location, and your fishing goals.

What happens if we have to cancel or reschedule?

We understand plans can change.

Cancellations

Cancellations made 30 days or more in advance will receive a full refund.

Cancellations within 30 days will forfeit your deposit.

Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule, contact Captain Glenn. Requests to change a trip date are subject to availability and may not always be accommodated.

What if it rains or there's bad weather?

Your safety and enjoyment are always the top priority. All trips are weather-dependent and subject to the captain’s discretion. If conditions are unsafe, you’ll have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund of your deposit.

For Islamorada trips, our standard cancellation policy remains in effect—even if a tropical storm is forecasted—unless an official tourist evacuation is issued for the Florida Keys.

The captain will monitor weather leading up to your trip and will reach out if conditions may impact your charter.

What can we expect to catch on our charter?

On an inshore trip, you can expect to target popular species such as snook, redfish, sea trout, tarpon, and mangrove snapper, depending on the season.

For nearshore trips, common catches include grouper, cobia, king mackerel, Spanish mackerel, and the occasional snapper or shark.

Your Captain will always do their best to put you on the fish and make your trip an exciting experience!

Can we keep the fish we catch?

Yes, in some cases!

Capt. Glenn takes pride in running a catch-and-release focused charter to help preserve the future of sportfishing. However, he’s happy to keep and clean select species that are great table fare—like Mangrove Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Sea Trout, and Mahi—when they’re in season and within legal limits.

Be sure to ask your captain what’s in season and allowed to keep during your trip.

Do we need fishing licenses?

Nope!

Your charter covers all the necessary licenses and permits, so you’re fully set for your fishing adventure, with everything included in your trip.

Can we bring alcohol on a fishing charter?

Yes, you’re welcome to bring alcohol on the fishing charter.

We just ask that you drink responsibly to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone on board – and leave the glass containers at home.

What kind of boat will we be going out in?

You’ll be fishing aboard a 24-foot, 2024 Pathfinder powered by a 300 HP Yamaha.

It’s a versatile and comfortable boat, perfect for both inshore and nearshore trips, equipped with top-notch electronics, twin Power Poles, and ample seating for up to 6 guests.

How many people can go on a charter?

Maximum number of guests is 6 (plus your Captain).

What if we would like to go longer?

Absolutely!

If you’re enjoying your charter and want to extend your trip, we’d be glad to accommodate, provided our booking schedule allows for it.

What if we want to have a fish mounted?

There’s no need to keep the fish for mounting anymore! With just a few photos and measurements, a high-quality replica can be made.

Capt. Glenn partners with an excellent taxidermist and can recommend them to create a stunning mount of your trophy catch.
