Conditions & Overview
This week delivered a healthy mix of inshore action, with several zones producing consistently. Bait presence has been the driving force, especially around the harbor, and the cooler water continues to shape where fish are staging and feeding. Multiple species are showing strong patterns right now, giving anglers a wide range of opportunities across the bridges, harbor, mangroves, and the West Wall.
Hot Zones & Bites
41 Bridge – Jacks & Drum Holding Tight
The 41 Bridge has been one of the more dependable stops lately. Jacks and Black Drum have been feeding well around the structure, taking advantage of the current breaks and the steady flow of bait moving through the pilings. If you’re working this area, expect a mix of power and steady pull from both species.
Harbor Bait Schools – Fast Action on Ladyfish & Spanish Mackerel
The harbor continues to light up with life, especially around the bait schools. Ladyfish are running energetically as always, and Spanish Mackerel are sliding in around the same pods. When the bait balls get active, the bite follows quickly.

West Wall – Pompano & Cobia in the Mix
The West Wall has offered a noticeable uptick in Pompano and some Cobia activity. It’s worth watching the surface closely here — when rays are pushing across the Bar, Cobia have been shadowing them. Spot the rays, and you’re often already in the right neighborhood.
Mangrove Lines – Snook & Redfish on Shrimp
Shrimp has been the standout bait by the mangroves. Both Snook and Redfish have been feeding well in these sheltered edges, especially where pockets and points create small ambush zones. The bite has been steady and reliable with shrimp presentations.
Seasonal Movement – Sheepshead Building Up
Sheepshead are beginning to show with more consistency, and the cooling water will only strengthen this pattern in the coming weeks. Expect this species to continue improving as temperatures slide downward.
